TOKYO, Japan, February 9, 2026—Otsuka Foods Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Chuo Ward, Osaka; President: Goro Ikeuchi) announced today that it will release “ Health-Conscious Bon Curry with Full Serving of Japan-Grown Vegetables” across Japan on Monday, March 2, 2026.
The new product retains the delicious taste that Bon Curry is known for, while also providing a full serving*1 of Japan-grown vegetables. Free of 28 allergens, gluten-free, and made without animal-based ingredients,*2 the curry addresses the health concerns and diverse dietary needs of people today.

Background
According to surveys by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, vegetable intake among Japanese people falls short of recommended targets across all age groups for both men and women,*3 creating demand for foods that make it easy to supplement insufficient vegetable consumption. Additionally, there is growing need for dietary options that accommodate individual lifestyles, including for people with food allergies and those who avoid gluten (a protein found in wheat and other grains) or animal-based foods for various reasons.
Otsuka Foods seeks to address these diverse needs in "a single box," developing a product that allows everyone to share the same table with peace of mind as part of the familiar Bon Curry lineup.

Product Features

  • • Free of 28 allergens, gluten-free, and made without animal-based ingredients.

Otsuka Foods will continue to offer products that contribute to enriched dietary lifestyles while responding to changes in the times and evolving consumer values.
